Most of the resorts in El Nido, you’ll find it in town. But if you prefer a quiet place, then Hadefe is one of my recommendations. The only problem is you have to walk 10-15 min from the town coz it’s not accessible by tricycle. I understand that each one of us has his/her own preference in terms of accommodation, food, amenities, etc… but for those who would like to have a different taste of adventure, look no further.
Road to Hadefe
As we head towards Hadefe, allow me to show some views. This is the El Nido main beach.

This is the reason why it’s not accessible for 3 wheel vehicle. The road is too narrow.

La La La La… enjoying yourself?

On the left is the Cemetery. You will pass by here…

Cemetery on the left. Not for the faint heart? Just kiddin’… it’s not creepy as you think.

After a not so creepy walk, you’ll be given this view as a reward. Not bad isn’t it?

Cottages parallel to the sea. We chose to stay here.

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The view is magnificent. However, they don’t have a restaurant but you can always walk back to town for different restaurants to choose from. Or buy your own food in the market and ask the caretaker to refrigerate them for you. At night, we grilled our own food. And in the morning, free coffee is provided. Lunch was not a problem for us coz it’s free during the island hopping tour. For rice, you can ask the staff of Hadefe to cook it (as well as pancit canton). We are surprised that they only charged 100 pesos for cooking our rice and pancit canton during our stay. There are stores near the place so you can buy snacks, softdrinks, or mineral water.
Rate is 600 pesos for a fan room and I’m not sure for the air-conditioned room. They gave us discount so we only paid 1,500 pesos for 3 nights. Hehehe. For budget conscious, I suggest that you get a fan room instead coz it’s windy in the area and it’s cold enough at night. One more thing is, electricity in El Nido is only available from 3pm to 6am. And oh, to fully enjoy your stay in El Nido, you need to see the islands and it will be a whole day tour so spending too much in accommodations is not practical. I miss Hadefe… I’ll be back for sure.

Thank You Gabz. For the price, Hadefe is one of the best in El Nido.
